K-LOULUX · ATELIER TOKYO
About K-LOULUX
A creative house founded in Tokyo, at the crossroads of the Japanese art of movement and West African craftsmanship.
My house
The art of gesture, the power of heritage
My name is Mbalou, a fashion designer based in Tokyo. I founded K-LOULUX at the crossroads of two heritages: the Japanese art of craftsmanship and the richness of West African textile traditions. Each piece is an encounter between these two worlds.
In my studio, I bring together the precision of Japanese tailoring, the vibrancy of African prints, and the exacting standards of bespoke work, with a commitment to sustainable fashion.
Reinvented kimono, bespoke tailoring, African designs: three worlds united by the same conviction—clothing is an act of creation, transmission, and identity.
My vision
Values woven into every creation
